Even without tranquil Mirror Lake, with its crystal-clear reflection of majestic trees and the tiny village, it is breathtakingly gorgeous.
About seven miles from Lake Placid, it is a 2876-foot mountain in the Adirondacks' High Peaks region.
With its wakeboard, waterski, tubing, and wakesurfing, it has plenty of fun activities planned for you.
Although it is rather uneven and rocky, it is beautiful and a lot of fun.
Additionally, locals can skate there during the entire winter and occasionally run into one of the renowned skaters, like Scott Hamilton or Rachel Flatt.
The most picturesque walk in the area is a half-hour hike to the Gorge that is simple and accessible to everyone.
The enormous, more than 100-meter-tall ski jumps are still utilized by skilled athletes today.
